But the FY2024-25 ACFR says “sales tax revenues for FY 2024– 25 totaled $3.9 million, reflecting a 10% decline from the prior year. This decrease is primarily attributed to a major taxpayer vacating a warehouse in February 2025. For FY 2025– 26, revenues are projected to further decline to approximately $3.4 million as the full-year impact of this change is realized.” And CDTFA data show taxable sales in American Canyon fell from approximately $368 million in 2023 to $293 million in 2025.

I'm also curious whether there is a current Economic Development Strategic Plan for American Canyon. I saw that there was some discussion in 2021 about one; it may be useful to revisit that conversation now.
