I am writing this in opposition to roundabouts on highway 29 in American Canyon due to the heavy traffic. Adding a lane in each direction thru the downtown area would work much better and probably not cost as much as adding roundabouts. I would also like to suggest pedestrian bridges at American Canyon Rd, and at the intersection that crosses over to Walmart from City Hall. This would make it safer for people crossing Highway 29.
