Dear Mayor, Vice Mayor, City Council Members, and City Manager & City Staff - I wanted to express my gratitude for the cooperation and coordination in transitioning the city's corp yard to benefit the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation's projects and mission. This site's transformation into a regional Ecological Center will enable the foundation and our city to beckon aligned naturalist and conservationist organizations, while providing deeper wetland education for generations to come. I applaud the city's willingness and efforts in taking bold steps to grow partnerships that mutually benefit American Canyon residence's quality of life through greater nature education and access. Thank you to all members, past and present, that continue to share and support our vision for the Napa River Ecology Center!

I am submitting this comments as a board member of American Canyon Community Parks Foundation. I wanted to take a moment to thank the Council, both current and past, along with Jason Holley and members of your Community Development Department for the CIty's continued support of the Napa River Ecology Center project.

Without the immense support of the City, we would not be where we are today. Last month, we were able to move our offices into the current building, while we are finishing up the capital campaign. Gaining access to the site is critical for us to show potential donors the amazing site and incredible opportunities that the reuse of the building provide not only to American Canyon, but Napa valley and the greater Bay Area as a while
