Good Evening. My name is Cathy Margolati and I currently serve as a Commissioner on the Parks and Community Services Commission. I am unable to attend tonight's meeting so am submitting my e-comment to express my support for updating our Parks and Recreation Department user fee schedule. It has been 19 years since this has been updated and is long overdue. The Commission spent many hours at our monthly public meetings reviewing and discussing current fees, cost of programs, market rate and what nearby cities charge for similar programs. We also spent a lot of time considering the Cost Recovery Pyramid Model in the benefit to the individual to high community benefit. I feel that the process resulting in the proposed new fee schedule was very productive and our Commission agreed upon and supported what you are reviewing tonight.
