"Skate park location to be determined" This is one of the very few things our city has for people of all ages to enjoy. What's the cities plan for the old napa junction site? Yes, I read it's a blank slate, why not move the skatepark there then? Other locations could be next to Kimberly park behind the bathrooms. By the bocce ball courts, lots of space there. Lot on Crawford and 29 across from subway. The way I see this going is the city will wonder where will the money for grading and leveling an area, a concrete pad, and fence will come from. I hope it is moved in a timely manner also like Heidi Zipay said in her excellent comment. I'm also hopeful it will be open dawn to dusk like every other park!

I am concerned about the language in the city staff report about the skate park, namely: "Addi􏰀tionally, the temporary skateboard park will be relocated to a locati􏰀on that is still TBD." I hope the city has a firm plan in place now to relocate the skate park in a timely manner, or add an agreement with NVUSD to allow a 12-month status quo usage to give the city time to create AND implement a plan to move the skate park. As you know, it is a highly popular and heavily used amenity, that would be sorely missed if it suddenly closed with no plan in place to move it. Thank you for your consideration.
